I am a multidisciplinary researcher, policy analyst and published commentator working across energy transition, climate and environmental policy, sustainability, geopolitics and international affairs. My work connects evidence-based academic research with contemporary policy debates, with particular interest in South Asia, the Global South and the evolving relationship between environment, development and strategic affairs.

I am Dr. Mahesh Prasad Ganguly, a multidisciplinary researcher, policy analyst and published commentator with interests spanning energy transition, climate and environmental policy, sustainability, geopolitics, international affairs and public policy. I approach these fields through evidence-based research and interdisciplinary analysis, with the aim of connecting academic inquiry to policy-relevant questions.
My academic and professional experience also extends to geospatial analysis, public health and clinical research. This cross-disciplinary background enables me to examine complex policy challenges from multiple perspectives and to communicate research findings to both specialist and wider audiences.
Alongside my academic work, I write policy commentary and analytical articles for national and international publications. Through my research and writing, I seek to contribute to informed discussion on climate action, sustainable development, energy security, South Asia and the wider Global South.
